If so you or your friend can receive a field trip grant from Target. That’s right, apply and receive funds to take your students on an educational field trip. Not all learning happens in the classroom especially those kids who learn by doing and seeing. For some, a field trip can be the most important thing they remember all year long.

The application deadline is September 30, 2010, so hurry and get your application in.
The grant is for $700 to each school that is awarded the money. Target is giving away 5,000 of these, so the odds of receiving one is based on the amount of schools that apply, but still it’s easy money and school grants can go a long way for some school districts.
